Well, that's a first.

I received a phone call today and when I answered, it was a sweet little girls voice asking for Rylan.  Um, what???  She wanted him to come over and play.  I don't even know how I feel about this.

House update!

We are currently in the install stage.  The next few weeks will involve several things going in such as the trim, floors, cabinetry, and painting taking place.  So excited to see everything shape up.  I'm a huge fan of our designer, Libby Palmieri, and The House of L!

Can I say that we are SO tired of winter?  We went from extreme heat to extreme cold...not liking it one 
bit!  We took the kids to the pool today to think warm thoughts.  Can't wait to go to Florida in one week!!!  I would take 50 degrees at this point.

In an attempt to cease the hibernation period, we are going to begin to explore our new home town. After all, "Cleveland Rocks," right? Once a week we are hoping to leave the house and "explore." First stop, The Rainforest at the Cleveland Zoo and a heated bus ride and stop at the primates and wolves. We were the only people there at times!

Olympics

I'm working on trying to extend Rys very short school day by creating lesson plans for the week.  Today we worked on tallying medal counts for the top countries.

Sheriff Callie

There is a new show on Disney Junior named Sheriff Callie :-)!  It has provoked the kids to play "Wild West."  My creative littles pull out sleeping bags and wild animals into the hallway.  Cowboy hats and bandanas, along with princess dresses, are worn.  Lights are turned off and camping at night takes place with flashlights.  Callie Jae told Missi on the phone yesterday that Rylan is "my cowboy" and "I am the princess."  I'd love to think this play lasts forever, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts!

Organization

It's hard to keep things organized when the house is torn apart, but I was feeling the need to make something easier.  I'm hoping this saves us some time and morning disagreements by selecting the weeks clothes together on Sundays.  So far so good!
